Bush Assassinated In TV What-If Documentary
Saturday, September 2nd, 2006 at 13:45 by Stephen BallThe Republican party has said they find the plans to show George Bush being assassinated in a tv documentary “shocking and disturbing”.
Death of a President uses CGI and archive footage to show Bush being shot during a protest rally in 2007. The programme investigates what could happen after that event, given the recent changes in US society due to the war on Terror.
A spokeswoman for the party, talking about the assassination scene, said “I don’t know if there are many people in America who would want to watch something like that” (proving once and for all that she doesn’t pay attention to polls.)
It’s all a lot of fuss over nothing anyway. The documentary is being shown on More4, so it’s not like anyone will see it.
I am disappointed not to have received any material in response to my various requests for the clip. I’d quite like it in a suitable format to be put looping on my desktop, for example.
Just think of the possibilities if you could sell it to mobile phone users like a video ringtone…
