Blairs Borrow Sir Cliff’s Mansion
Thursday, August 24th, 2006 at 22:46 by Sarah MalaiseSir Cliff Richard has refuted allegations that he invited the Prime Minister and his wife to take holidays in his Barbados mansion for political gain.
The elderly pop virgin has been trying to cram a few more millions into the bank by lobbying to extend performers copyrights on songs from fifty to seventy five years, and a document leaked after a recent government meeting reveals that Tony Blair has asked ministers to make it a priority.
This is nothing more than coincidence, according to the geriatric star, who claims his reasons for making the six bedroom property available to the family for the last four summers are entirely altruistic.
??I saw Tony on television during the war and he seemed dwindled and haggard? said the Batchelor Boy, who obviously hasn??t looked in a mirror himself lately. “The idea was to do a good deed for someone doing a terrible job.”
You said it, Sir Cliff.

I wonder what he’s willing to offer to Bush in light of his performance rating.

Bush wouldn’t wait for an invitation, he’d just storm in anyway.
