Judge Who Consulted ‘Mystic dwarves’ Loses Appeal

Friday, August 18th, 2006 at 17:43 by Adam Williams

A Philippine judge, who claimed to posess psychic powers enabling him to communicate with magical “Dwarf friends”, attempted to keep his job today, after his dismissal in March due to failing a psychiatric test.

Florentino Floro’s three dwarves, Armand, Luis and Angel, were no use in his appeal against incompetence and bias, as his appeal against the Phillippines Supreme Court was thrown out.

The court said psychic phenomena had no place in the judiciary, while Mr Floro countered “They should not have dismissed me for what I believed“.

Well, Mr Floro, I guess that depends on what your job is…
