Judge Who Consulted ‘Mystic dwarves’ Loses Appeal

Friday, August 18th, 2006 at 17:43 by Adam Williams

A Philippine judge, who claimed to posess psychic powers enabling him to communicate with magical “Dwarf friends”, attempted to keep his job today, after his dismissal in March due to failing a psychiatric test.

Florentino Floro’s three dwarves, Armand, Luis and Angel, were no use in his appeal against incompetence and bias, as his appeal against the¬†Phillippines Supreme Court¬†was thrown out.

The court said psychic phenomena had no place in the judiciary, while Mr Floro countered “They should not have dismissed me for what I believed“.

Well, Mr Floro, I guess that depends on what your job is…
