Britons Believe We‚??re Losing the ‚??War on Terror‚??

Thursday, August 17th, 2006 at 23:56 by RJ Barker

Today‚??s Spectator reports that four out of five Britons think we‚??re losing the war on terror.

The YouGov survey reports that most of us believe it‚??s fairly likely Britain will suffer a terrorist attack within the next year and a full third thought it very likely. People are also saying they would Like Tony to distance our foreign policy from that of the US. Whether or not this would be shutting the door after the horse has bolted is up for debate.

John Prescott remains tight lipped on the subject, probably.
